"Making it as a concept artist"
Last week, Mobius Academy had the pleasure of collaborating with Digital Blacksmith School for an incredibly wholesome and insightful session titled “Making It As A Concept Artist.” The event featured two inspiring guest speakers, Jourdan Tuffan and Kay Tang, who shared valuable wisdom from their journeys in the creative industry.
Beyond the usual technical tips and portfolio advice, this session dove into the often overlooked but essential aspects of a creative career—mental health, mindset, perseverance, and courage. Both speakers emphasized the importance of maintaining emotional well-being and cultivating a resilient mindset to truly thrive as a concept artist.
We hope our students walked away not only inspired but also empowered with confidence and compassion—ready to care for themselves while pursuing their artistic goals.
